As readers, we need to be able to look at that is happening in the world around us so that we can make connections to what we are reading. Thinking about the world you live in, what connections can you make to your book.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my book Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment, connections I have to the real world are to me. I know what it's like to be out of the crowd, or the weird outsider no body knows. At one time I was the outsider, when I was went to Denver schools, I was the most weird child ever. I still am but I can now fit into a group of people. I also have a connection to the everyday teenager life. We all have our weird moments, and our weirdo friends like my characters in my book.

9.22.10 - 9.24.10 Week 5
In your book, what are some of the ways that your character(s) expresses themselves through their emotions? How do they show love? Anger? Hate? Why is this important to you as a reader?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my book Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment, my character (Max) shows herself through her emotions by always being tough, strong, and trys to handle everything on her own. She shows her love by guiding and caring for her flock (family). She expresses anger through in a way of feeling betrayed by her former father type figure in her life. Hate is a expressed feeling through her as hate for the school(the place where she was experimented on since a young child). It is very important to me because, I want to feel my characters emotions, think my characters thoughs, and actually feel like I'm my own character in the book I am reading. I believe my author (James Patterson) has gave me thier thoughts, thier emotions, and has made feel apart of the story.

Week 4 responce
My book Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment's author James Patterson, his place in the book on the way Max looks is important because of her wings witch are white with golden striped natural highlights. Her wings are the most fantastic wings of the whole flock. Fang's look is kinda over expressed by his attidute toward Max. His attidute is a tough guy gothic kinda thing. I know that all this is important because like without a mental view apon your characters in your book, you would believe that the gender, look, way of dress of the character is different then the author intended.

Week of 9/3/10
In my book Maximum Ride:The Angel Experiment, my main character Max expresses herself by her action. Her action are intertwined with her leadership as the oldest of the kids. She also expresses her self through her thought. She is the narrator of the book. She has help me express myself by letting me know that
I can be myself and let people know who I am and what I like to do.
